About the Office
The District Attorney is responsible for representing the state in criminal cases pending within the county. The role of the District Attorney is to see that justice is served in every case, whether that means dismissing charges, finding a way to give second chances to those who deserve them, or seeking severe sentences for those who are truly a danger to our community.
